March Against the Far Right - Sudan Solidarity Bloc

Sheffield for Sudan

Assemble 12pm Saturday 28 March at Park Lane and march to Trafalgar Square/Whitehall. We’re joining over 400 organisations in combatting the rise of the far right at the march organised by @togetheralliance. Join our Sudan bloc, and stand in solidarity with the Sudanese community, including refugees, migrants and asylum seekers who are increasingly being targeted by a hostile system! The media and far right politicians seek division in our society, and scapegoat immigration. We’re appalled at the recent news on the ban of student visa’s from Sudan, Afghanistan, Cameroon and Myanmar. This is a blatant attempt of appeasement to the far right, all whilst the Labour government continues to arm the UAE despite Emirati complicity in arming and funding a proxy militia (RSF). The genocide in Sudan is described as the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. We demand that the UK stops exporting weapons to the UAE, and for SAF and RSF leaders complicit in crimes against humanity to be held accountable. There are several coaches that have been organised, and these can be found at https://www.togetheralliance.org.uk/getting-there After the march, there is an incredible free community event being organised by @greens4sudan at Kingsgate Community Hall,N14DB from 7-10pm which also includes food and music. Tickets can be found in their bio! Hope to see you there 💙
