📢 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐆𝐆𝐋𝐄, 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄: 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐎–𝐒𝐔𝐃𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 MENA Solidarity Network will be speaking at the upcoming “One Struggle, One Hope” Congo–Sudan Conference, hosted by the London International Solidarity Network (@neu_internationalsolidarityldn). At a time when war, displacement, and imperialist extraction continue to devastate both Congo and Sudan, this conference brings together activists, educators, trade unionists, artists, and community organisers to build a shared analysis — and a shared strategy of resistance. The struggles in Congo and Sudan are not isolated crises. They are shaped by the same global system: one that profits from mineral wealth, entrenches authoritarian power, fuels militarised violence, and treats African lives as expendable in the pursuit of profit and geopolitical control. But there is another side to this story — the side of resistance. From Sudan’s neighbourhood resistance committees and workers’ organising, to Congolese movements confronting exploitation and foreign corporate plunder, people are refusing silence and building collective power from below. This conference is about strengthening those links of solidarity across borders, and turning understanding into action.
