It has slashed benefits for disabled people; robbed trans people of access to healthcare; and ramped up the oppression of migrants. This is nothing new for Labour. Labour supported the Balfour declaration in 1917, and continues to back the Zionist state to this day, not because Britain is anyone’s ‘puppet’, but because Israel’s genocidal aggression supports Britain’s imperialist interests in the Middle East. The Labour Party is complicit in imperialist crimes around the world: it helped hijack tankers carrying Venezuelan oil; British banks block transactions to socialist Cuba; RAF spy planes over Gaza feed intelligence to the IDF; and British airbases are now complicit in the attacks on Iran and the wider region.
