Join us on Easter Sunday to stand up for our rights, with an easter bunny egg distribution action AND support our community with non-perishables/essentials for NELA Distribution and tools for the worker center, and toys for kids impacted by the raids! Come dressed in your Easter suit! (Bunny or otherwise) NEXT Sunday April 12th will focus on how to support the incredible NELA Centro Community Self Defense team at Home Depot. Meet members of the team and learn how to join in this critical support for our neighbors! Join us at Home Depot Cypress Park Sundays 12-2pm as we challenge the brutal attacks on our communities and Home Depot's complicity in the fascist brutality of the ICE Raids and broader pattern of unchecked violence, impunity, and attacks on members of our communities. We are also supporting our communities with a donation dropoff every week to support NELA Distribution, the IDEPSCA workers center, the Jornaleros, vendors and neighbors in the area. We will be connecting people to the NELA Centro Community Self Defense as well. We are in coalition with many community organizations and will be collaborating for larger events some weeks as well!
