ICE Out For Good Highland Park
ICE Out for Good - Come make your voices heard for our communities. After the killing of 37 year-old Renee Good a week ago you would think ICE would lay low, but instead they came out even more aggressive than ever. ICE has been witnessed taking hundreds of people into custody in Los Angeles during this week, from people shopping, selling peanuts, taco vendors, people riding their bike, and workers in the fashion district.
They are hard-working people.
Please bring your whistles, drums, noisemakers, posters, and banners, and make yourself heard. Post this to all your social media accounts to spread the word.
In addition, we are asking attendees to bring a perishable food for families in our community, too scared to come out for groceries. Those can be canned goods, packaged tortillas, or other items that we can box and deliver to families in need.
A core principle behind all ICE Out For Good events is a commitment to nonviolent action and no civil disobedience. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. All events should be held in public spaces or on public property.
