UC Unbowed will join representatives of the faculty association and others at the "free speech zone" in Dickson Court across from Murphy Hall. Initiated by Indivisible East Bay as a Courage Collective, UC Unbowed is a new campaign of alumni and allies calling for university leadership to defend academic freedom and reject Trump's political control. The rally will be ahead of the Regents meeting, where we will present our UC Unbowed petition, which has over 2,000 signatures. Some in the rally will present the petition during the public comment, while others can picket with Luskin AFSCME 3299 and CNA.
