Collective Reading of Palestinian Political Prisoners' Experiences

SJP AT UCLA

On Thursday April 20th, join SJP at UCLA from 5-7 PM for our fourth day of Palestinian Liberation Week (PLW). Palestinian political prisoners are the compass of the struggle. The martyrs are brilliant stars, and the prisoners are pure energy and determination on the path to liberation and victory. Palestinian political prisoners guide the movement through their steadfastness and discipline in the worst conditions imaginable. Those in the occupation’s prisons are faced with daily medical neglect, forced starvation, sexual violence, and systematic torture. On April 2nd, we will be doing collective reading of the experiences/thoughts of Palestinian political prisoners with some discussion questions. Pulling from essays, interviews, poems, to narrative stories, we have everything to learn from our prisoners.
