No trabajo. No escuela. No compras.
Please join us as we answer the call of our Minneapolis comrades for “No Work, No School, No Shopping” this Friday, January 23. Across the country, communities are simultaneously mobilizing to hold profiteers like Amazon, Home Depot, and Palantir accountable. Details on how to get involved are forthcoming. Abolish ICE!

This will not and should not be the first call for solidarity strikes or shut downs. We must build the infrastructure to sustain and execute much larger strikes(aka a general strike) to be effectively disruptive of business as usual and have our demands met. This means simultaneous direct actions that shut down freeways, ports, and schools. Providing mutual aid networks for those who want to participate in a strike, but who also have families and loved ones to care for. Calling for general strikes on days with enough time in advance to build mass and popular education. We do not want a mere defunding of the prison/ detention industrial complex, but total abolition of these historically oppressive and racist institutions. If you are confused why so many are connecting the state violence of ICE with the violence of the police consider reading up on the histories of abolitionist movements, or how the weekend was won in this country.
