Welcome to: Challenging the Narrative - How Sudan's war is framed, and what those narratives obscure When: 9 April, 17.00-18.15 Where: LUX B129, Helgonavägen 3, Lund. How: All welcome, no registration needed Samahir Elmubarak is a Sudanese political activist and researcher, who will discuss how describing Sudan's war through simplified narratives such as civil war, tribal conflict or humanitarian crisis shape understanding, what these framings leave out, and why the used language matters. This event is arranged by the Critical Studies Research Node, the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies, Lund University, in collaboration with Lund Academics for Palestine.
