Tashlich ritual

🕯️ Join us for a Tashlich ritual Sept 28 🕯️ 📅 September 28th, 12 - 2pm 📍Madrona Beach Join us during the Jewish Days of Awe for our 19th annual Tashlich ritual to cast off and take responsibility for the immense horrors of the past two years of the genocide in Gaza and the West Bank. The Tashlich ceremony around the Jewish New Year allows us to reflect on our actions/inactions of the past year, and then symbolically cast off these transgressions into a body of water. We will be casting off, taking responsibility for, and attempting to transform this year’s transgressions. We are committing to a permanent ceasefire, an end to arms sales to Israel, and a free Palestine. Access: Metro Bus #2 goes to Madrona Beach. For ASL interpretation, please contact [email protected]. Please avoid wearing fragrances. The area where we hold the ritual is wheelchair accessible via a paved path from the parking lot. We will have chairs to sit in if you need one or you can bring your own.
