All out in Manchester on Saturday, 27 September, 12pm, Piccadilly Gardens. Stop the ethnic cleansing of Gaza city! Stop arming Israel! After almost two years of an undeterred Israeli genocide in Gaza, we are now witnessing what we have always known as Israel’s intentions: perpetual occupation and the further ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. Images and stories of another forced displacement of Palestinians by the brutal force of the Zionist murder machinery emerge once again, to be added to the long list of previous ones, stretching across all of colonised Palestine. A thousands-years old city with an entire history, legacy and society is being erased as we speak. And in the West Bank, Israel is entrenching its deadly occupation, the longest running in modern history, paving the way for further annexation, settlement expansion and fragmentation of Palestinians, and vile settlers are still attacking lands, people and property. In the Naqab area in 48 Palestine, Israel is forcibly displacing entire communities from their villages and homes. The expulsion, killing and annihilation of Palestinians happening for over 77 years are not something to normalise! Waking up to the news of more martyrs and loss is not a “usual” part of a daily routine, but must only be a trigger for more action and resistance. We have a lot to do on our streets. Israeli crimes are enabled by the British establishment, an active participant in the genocide and dehumanisation of Palestinians. From selling arms to legitimising and providing shield for Israel’s war crimes, Britain is soaked with Palestinian blood, and has been for over a century. Our demand is clear: full arms embargo on Israel now! And our ultimate goal is clear: a free Palestine from the river to the sea!
