Please join us on Valentine’s Day to line Valley Street at Jerry Ryan Town Hall Plaza and show support for all our immigrant neighbors. It’s Presidents’ Day weekend too, and there’s plenty you might want to express on “that” subject… If you’ve never been to a protest before, this is a great place to start. Bring your family, your friends, your acoustic noisemakers, your warm attire, your signs, and your voices. Come for 30 minutes or stay all three hours. Come on your own and you’re likely to make new friends. We will have poster board and markers for anyone who would like to make a sign, plus some V-Day treats, and we’ll be mixing a few love songs into the protest music playlist. Singing along is strongly encouraged! This is one block from the Maplewood train station, parking should be easy on side streets, and there will be benches and a few chairs for anyone who could use a rest.
