Circular Economy Club Sydney

🪡 MENDING MEET-UP 🪡 Join Circular Economy Club Sydney and @reversegarbage for a Mending Meetup on Tuesday 24 February from 5:30pm. We’ll combine a relaxed hand-sewing mini-workshop with plenty of time to connect with fellow circular minds. On average, Australians buy 56 new items of clothing each year, burning a hole in our wallets and the planet. A simple, circular solution is to reuse and repair what we already own, getting more life out of our clothes. Bring along those pants that need hemming, that shirt with a hole in it, or any other sew- or stitch-able items you’d like to repair. No sewing experience required! We’ll have hand-sewing supplies and plenty of crowdsourced repair gurus around the room to help. Don’t have anything to mend but keen to join in anyway? Come for the conversation, the skills, and the community. Light refreshments will be provided. Event runs 5:30pm-8pm. 🪡 Sign up via the link in our bio! #Repair #Reuse #CircularEconomy
