A Vigil for the Victims of The Gaza Genocide

Free Palestine Coalition Naarm

PUBLIC INVITATION - HONOURING PALESTINE - A VIGIL FOR THE VICTIMS OF THE GAZA GENOCIDE On 7 October 2025, the Palestinian community of Victoria will hold a vigil to honour our loved ones killed by Israel in the ongoing genocide. For decades, Palestinian grief and rights have been silenced, denied, and demonised. Many in our community live under a constant landscape of persecution and dehumanisation, where grieving publicly and demanding freedom are met with hostility or threat. To gather in this vigil is itself an act of courage and defiance. We come together peacefully to honour our martyrs, our loved ones killed under oppression and violence, and to speak the truth of their loss and of the oppressive occupation Palestinians endure every day. We gather to affirm life and land and refuse dehumanisation and erasure. Our rights are not conditional. Our humanity is not negotiable. We invite people of heart and conscience to join us: šŸ“… Tuesday, 7 October 2025 šŸ•” 5:00 PM šŸ“ Procession: MP Pavillion, Queen Victoria Gardens St Kilda rd, Naarm (Melbourne) Across the road from the NGV šŸ•” 6.30 PM šŸ“ Vigil ceremony: Parliament House Spring street, Naarm (Melbourne) šŸ‘‰ Read our full public statement for deeper context, facts, and truth-telling by scanning QR code or at this link: https://www.freepalestinecoalitionnaarm.com/events/7-october-vigil Photo 1 - @sangblek_ Photo 3 - brissendenkilic
