Women's March
Taco Tuesday Sidewalk Solidarity Sessions
After We March, We ORGANIZE: Taco Tuesday Sidewalk Solidarity Sessions
🗓️ Every Tuesday
🕓 4:00–5:30 PM PT
📍 Sidewalk outside the Senior Living Center, Tam Junction, Mill Valley California
🧓✊ Real care starts with real presence.
Every Tuesday, we gather with residents of the Fireside Apartments, Muir Lodge motel and 150 Shoreline Highway residents for a weekly check-in that’s part protest, part potluck, and pure community. With tacos in hand and justice in our hearts, we’re creating a model of visible, loving oversight that can be replicated anywhere.
WHY “TACO TUESDAY”?
Because it’s easy to remember, tasty to show up for, and powerful enough to build a movement.
Because dignity should be part of the menu in every senior care facility.
WHAT HAPPENS WEEKLY:
✔️ We bring food, friends, and fresh ears to hear from seniors
✔️ We monitor for neglect and create a safe space for stories to be heard
✔️ We share organizing tools and tactics to expand this model across the country
✔️ We encourage women-led, community-rooted replication using Women’s March event tools
✔️ We keep showing up—because oversight is love in action
OUR GOAL:
To fix the “Gene Hackman” problem at its root by showing up every week, outside every elder care center that needs eyes, ears, and community attention. Starting right here in George Lucas’s neighborhood, where we have the creativity and resources to create real, elegant change.
Bring tacos. Bring love. Bring accountability.
We’re watching. We’re listening. We’re building something powerful.
