MTL4Sudan
We are so thrilled to have Nadia Bashalani with us on March 29th community benefit for Sudan ❤️🇸🇩 registeration link in our bio!
Nadia Bashalani is a second generation Canadian folk, roots and soul singer, raised by an Egyptian father and Polish mother. She has been active in Montreal’s music scene for over 20 years by participating in many musical projects, as a vocalist and songwriter, and sharing the stage with a variety of artists.
Her strengths stem from years of performance and songwriting. The expression “it takes a village” guides her in her creations. She has been blessed to know many wonderful and talented artists and has learned so much from them. As a vocalist and songwriter, Nadia has been fortunate to work with Montreal based rtists such as Wayne Tennant, Nadine Altounji, Daniel Isaiah, Cécile Doo-Kingue, Nantali Indongo and Patrick Watson. She is also a member of the renowned choir Imani Gospel Singers.
Nadia is currently working on The Voices of Many Project. This project combines music and books to develop songs for children and adults to explore counter-narratives while
challenging ideas embedded in us at such a young age.
