We refuse silence in the face of tyranny, authoritarianism, repression and political systems built on fear, hate and cruelty. Fascism is rising – we rise against it. Across the world, democratic freedoms are under attack – from voter suppression and censorship to cults of personality and state-sanctioned violence. We stand in solidarity with people everywhere who are resisting tyranny and demanding accountable, representative government. This is not about one country or one moment. It is about defending democracy, human rights and human dignity – everywhere. YES to Democracy. NO to Fascism. No Kings ever – only the people. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
