RESIST THIS ENDLESS WAR: The New Haven Sunday Vigil for Peace and Justice, continuing since 1999 The wars being fought and the injustices being perpetrated throughout the world and within this country are all parts of one war being waged on many fronts. Through military action, occupation, and genocide, adults and children are slaughtered, maimed, traumatized, and driven from their homes everywhere so that enormous wealth and power can be concentrated in the hands of a very few people. Bigotry, discrimination, widespread economic injustice, and domestic repression serve the same goal of enriching the few at the expense of the many. This “endless war” did not begin with the current administration, but it is now being pursued with no holds barred by the right wing MAGA movement in the United States and other authoritarian movements across the globe in a final, blatant attempt to consolidate power and destroy any semblance of democracy.
