New Yorkers will stand up for immigrant communities in the face of federal abuse, and we expect our elected officials at the state and city levels to do the same. With this action, we will stand together to: --Say NO ICE's practices at 26 Fed Plaza and beyond. --Say NO to federal troops in NYC. --Say YES to New Yorkers protecting New Yorkers: call on state and local lawmakers to use all their powers to protect immigrant communities from federal attacks, including passing New York for All and raising revenue to protect communities. Donald Trump does not care about the safety of our cities. He has cut federal funds for public safety, public health and housing. He’s spending our tax dollars on deporting working mothers and fathers, while he gives billionaires more power and control over our lives. He’s deploying the National Guard instead of providing funding for crime prevention, community needs, affordable housing and healthcare. We must come together as New Yorkers to say NO.
