NEW YORK: RISE UP FOR GAZA 🗓️ OCTOBER 4th @ 2 PM EST 📍WASHINGTON SQUARE PARK This October marks two years of Israeli-led, U.S manufactured genocide on Gaza and its people. Despite the United States, Canada, Europe, and reactionary Arab regimes involvement in the continued bombardment and famine, Gazans persist, and persist alone. It is our responsibility, as the masses present in New York City, in the heart of empire, to rally in our thousands in support of Gaza and its people. We call for October 4th as a global day of action for Palestine to mark this year as we did the last one: one where Palestinians stood tall against Zionism. A year wherein they faced an intentional starvation campaign, a looming annexation and occupation, and unrelenting bombardment that has now destroyed almost 90% of the Strip. Two years and they have yet to abandon their homes nor their land, and we must not abandon them now. There are more than 400,000 Palestinians now martyred. That these many men, women, and children were made to die is principally because its enablers allowed it to happen. Americans, Canadians, and Europeans, through the taxes they filed the last two years, funded the bombs that have shredded Palestinians to pieces, demolished their homes, and burned their lives. We can put a stop to this, we must not rest until the countries who have made this destruction possible feel levels of unprecedented public pressure—this is the only way. 🇵🇸 Join us in New York at 2 pm in Washington Square Park on Saturday, October 4th.
