We need to pass Bucks for Boilers in the upcoming Senate budget! The Bucks for Boilers Act gives money to everyday New Yorkers to fix up their homes and make them energy efficient when their oil or gas boiler conks out. Fossil fuel boilers are a huge source of pollution, posing risks to our health our and leading to higher utility bills. It's time to end our reliance on fossil fuels and move to sustainable alternatives like heat pumps. We can save money, lower pollution, and create good jobs, but we need you in the fight. Senator Kavanagh has not yet supported the Bucks for Boilers Act. He must do so and push Senate leaders to step up to both Trump and Hochul, who are pushing dirty, expensive fossil fuel projects and walking back our commitments on fighting climate change. At the end of the rally, we'll deliver petitions we've collected over the past few weeks to Senator Kavanagh and continue pushing the senator to put the needs of his constituents and everyday people ahead of the fossil fuel industry.
