ACT UP NY
Together We Win- NYC Rally for Trans Kids
When transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming people do not have access to gender-affirming care, HIV risk increases.
The U.S. Supreme Court is to hear two cases (West Virginia v. B.PJ and Little v. Hecox) whose final rulings will severely impact the future of trans people’s access to healthcare as youth and young adults.
We began 2025 protesting in response to the Trump administration’s draconian executive orders targeting the healthcare of transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming youth and young adults 19 or under; we protested the major New York Hospitals that capitulated to those orders; we will continue to protest as long as healthcare access is cut for, particularly, the at-large LGBTQ+ community, the HIV positive community, and those of us with the least autonomy: minors.
We join forces with @trans.formative.schools, @newprideagenda, and @pflagnyc for the “Together We Win: Rally for Trans Kids.” See you there.
