March 14 marks one year since Leqaa Kordia was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.) and transferred to a detention facility in Texas. DHS/ICE targeted her because of an arrest for protesting against the genocide of her people. Leqaa remains steadfast in her pursuit of Palestinian liberation and has spoken about the horrific conditions her and her fellow women detained have endured. She was recently hospitalized and will be spending her second Ramadan in detention We demand her immediate release and the end of deportation!
