Billions of our tax dollars go toward bombs dropped on children in Iran, a blockade strangling Cuba, and ICE terrorizing our neighborhoods — while schools, hospitals, and housing right here in Harlem go without essential funding. We must fight back! This conversation will focus on these imperialist wars and how they connect to our local struggles and conditions. We will learn from the rich history of Harlem’s anti-war organizing and envision how we can fight for a system that funds the people’s needs in Harlem and beyond.
