🧵🪡 REVOLUTIONARY PRINT-MAKING w/ Daniel Drennan ElAwar ℹ️ 6-week  |  2:30-5:30PM  |  Saturdays, March 21 through April 25  |  $250 This six-session class provides an overview of relief print-making in terms of the political poster tradition.The broadside or poster serves as an important historical printed record and archive of prevailing customs and culture, as well as resistance to dominant cultural norms. His work, based in a documentary genre, focuses primarily on issues of displacement, dispossession, and disinheritance. His research and practice concerning decolonization and resistance led to the founding in 2009 of a Beirut-based artists’ collective, ‎جمع اليد (Jamaa Al-Yad). He currently manages the studio and workshops for Frontline Arts in Branchburg, NJ
