A Glimpse Into Gaza - A Virtual Reality Exhibit & Fundraiser 🗓️ Saturday, September 6th ⏰ 4 pm - 9 pm 📍Qahwa Roots - 6812 3rd Ave Brooklyn, NY 11220 Join us for a special virtual reality experience, bringing Gaza to the world through the Phoenix of Gaza XR Project. This experience created by Palestinians to showcase the culture and daily life of Gaza, will now also serve us a way to preserve Gaza’s identity and rebuild what the genocide in Gaza has destroyed. The courageous journalists and members of Phoenix of Gaza XR invite us into a glimpse of Gaza’s richness through a collection of videos and 3D images, as we join together to refuse Gaza’s erasure and work towards a liberated Gaza. This special VR event is held in loving memory of Yahya Sobeih, a journalist and a member of Phoenix of Gaza XR Project who was recently martyred in Gaza. He is one of over 270 journalists who have been murdered by the zionist entity in Gaza during this ongoing genocide.
