Newark DE May Day 2026: Workers Over Billionaires
May Day Strong
Indivisible Newark DE is collaborating with Indivisible Highlands and Beyond for a series of protests along Rt. 2 (Kirkwood Highway/Capital Trail/Library Ave) for May Day!
Why We Protest
Keep up the momentum from No Kings 3 and continue to flex your muscles to save our democracy! Join us this coming May Day (International Workers’ Day) for the "Workers Over
Billionaires" national day of action where Indivisible Newark DE and Indivisible Highlands and Beyond will stand together to say:
Expand democracy, not corporate rule.
Tax the rich so our families come first.
No ICE, no war, no private armies.
A key part of May Day is the pledge of “No Work. No School. No Shopping.” So join us on the streets if you can instead of work, school, or shopping. Ad if you can't join us in person, participate in whatever other way you can, whether it be calling out of work or refusing to go shopping.
