On Friday 17 April we’ll gather at Grey’s Monument to mark Palestinian Prisoner’s Day. Over 9000 Palestinians are held as prisoners by ‘israel’ - many of them without charge and indefinitely. Many of them children. This year it is about more than imprisonment. On 30 March, the ‘israeli’ parliament voted to hang Palestinian prisoners in a new facet of the ongoing genocide. After sentencing, in a rigged system that has a 99% conviction rate, Palestinians will have 90 days before they will be executed by hanging. There is no equivalent law for ‘israeli’ citizens.
