Join us as we read Tip of the Spear by Orisanmi Burton and delve into the revolutionary history of the attica uprisings and commemorate Black August. Over the period of this study group, we aim to deepen our historical analysis of the social conditions that gave rise to the Attica uprisings applying the dialectical method of inquiry 🖤 By engaging in this study, we hope to strengthen our understanding of the carceral oppression that tangles and suffocates black life, and ancestral figures such as George Jackson, who waged a protracted struggle that shaped and molded the black radical tradition 👊🏽
