Get your potions master on and learn about the age old practice of making tinctures. We'll steep herbs in alcohol (or glycerin or vinegar) to make a potent, easily transportable medicine that lasts almost forever. Tinctures are fairly easy to make and much cheaper to make yourself - once you get started making tinctures, you'll soon have a kitchen shelf overrun with bottles of all shades of green and yellow and brown and red and whatever else you can come up with. This gathering will be at my apartment in Astoria. It'll be cute and cozy. Smaller group than usual. Masks are not required but are more than welcome. I have a very sweet dog, so if you don't dig dogs or are allergic, this won't be the one for you! I'll send my address after you register. This workshop is sliding scale. $15 funds my work and the materials needed for each person. $25 will fund your materials and those of a neighbor! :) Anything beyond that will put towards future classes.
