Join the Nafeer Collective at the Oakland Liberation Center for the Sudan Solidarity Session on January 18th. Sudan has been gripped by a catastrophic counterrevolutionary war for more than 1000 days. Now is the time to stand with the people of Sudan and form a global movement willing to fight against militarization and ready to uphold our collective liberation. The first step for allies here within the Bay Area is getting educated and staying organized. This session will focus on historicizing Sudan for participants and providing a critical lens for dissecting the various power structures fueling the war raging against civilians. Participants will engage in community building opportunities to make meaningful connections between Sudan’s struggle for self-determination and the greater global fights for liberation.
