12TH ANNUAL MARCH TO RECLAIM MLK'S RADICAL LEGACY

RECLAIM MLK: THE RADICAL LEGACY LIVES IN THE STREETS 🗓 Monday, January 19, 2026 ⏰ 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM 📍 Oscar Grant Plaza | Oakland This is the 12th Annual Reclaim MLK March — a living commitment to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s radical vision for anti-capitalist, anti-war, racial, and economic justice. At a moment when fascism is advancing locally and federally, when our communities are criminalized, surveilled, displaced, and disappeared, we are moving together — in the streets — to build collective power. From Oakland outward, we launch Two Weeks of Action, led by the people, for the people, resisting repression and organizing for real safety rooted in community. People Power Trumps Fascism. Those in power may hold office, but they do not hold the people. We stand on the side of truth, healing, and accountability. We reject state violence, mass incarceration, and systems built on punishment. We organize for real safety — led by community, not surveillance. OUR DEMANDS • Protect Black immigrants • ICE out of the Bay • U.S. out of everywhere • Stop ShotSpotter and mass surveillance • End mandatory minimums • Stop the sweeps, house the unhoused • End the genocides in Palestine, Sudan, and Congo MARCH DAY FLOW 11:00 AM Community Gathering Healing Village, Children’s Village, Tabling 12:30 PM March Begins 2:30 PM Return and Closing Children’s Village and Healing Village will be active throughout the day. Mobility-accessible contingent and bike accommodations available. Please respect security guidance. “A nation that spends more on war than social uplift is approaching spiritual death.” — MLK We choose life. We choose each other. We choose liberation. 🔗 antipoliceterrorproject.org/reclaim-mlk-2026 #ReclaimMLK #APTP #Oakland #PeoplePowerTrumpsFascism #BlackPowerTrumpsFascism
