This isn’t just an event; it’s a space for us to witness the resilience of a community that refuses to be erased. Join us this Saturday as we honor Arab American Heritage Month through the lens of art and resistance. What’s waiting for you: The Premiere: 2 short documentaries on art and resistance to ethnic cleansing in Silwan, Jerusalem- by I Witness Silwan. The Voices: Spoken word and poetry by @liftawiya , @shariffraff , and Lubna Morrar. The Sound: Live performances by @excentrik and @wearetheshadowband . We are proud to present the premiere of two short documentaries by I Witness Silwan, alongside an exhibition of oral histories titled “Jerusalem Through the Seams of Memory.” This event invites us to witness, remember, and connect our struggles and our survival. Come early for the Mural Tours and stay for the food, the vendors, and the community reflection. Let’s make sure these stories are heard.
