The town of Ocean View has enacted an ordinance #405 that establishes a permitting process for first amendment assemblies on town owned properties. This is unconstitutional and goes against our First Amendment rights. Saturday, AFTER the Rt 1 sign wave, we plan to meet and stand with us starting at 11:15/11:30 -12:30 at 32 West Ave. John West Park. If anyone wants to move to a sidewalk on Atlantic Ave is welcome to choose a location. The idea is to keep walking on the sidewalks and keep the sidewalk clear and do not obstruct foot or vehicle traffic. You can bring a flag, your regular sign, or make one about your right to protest. We will start in front of a children's park on Oakwood Ave and West Street and we ask everyone to please do not include curse words when making signs, and do not engage with possible hecklers.
