Oceanside, CA May Day 2026: Workers Over Billionaires

May Day Strong

Because when the billionaires break every rule, it’s going to take more than a rally to stop them. No Work, No School, No Shopping. Our Demands for May 1st Tax the rich so our families, not their fortunes, come first. No ICE. No war. No private army serving unchecked federal power. Expand democracy, not corporate power. Hands off our vote. Together we will be flexing our collective muscle - showing our unity through a day of marches, rallies—No Work, No School, No Shopping. NOTE: Please bring non-perishable food items. We are collecting food to share with those impacted by ICE in North San Diego County. Rice, beans, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, canned meat, canned food.... ADDITIONALLY, we are asking people to join us again on Saturday, May 2, for May Day Strong Day 2. Let's show the City of Oceanside and the current administration in Washington that we mean business! We are stepping up, showing and speaking up—one day is not enough. It is time for people to WAKE UP to the craziness, the chaos, the injustice, the dehumanization, the madness. We are collecting food both days. Join us in OCEANSIDE on May 1 and 2—because one day is not enough. Please note: A core principle behind all our events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
