Hosted by Indivisible EmpowHERed: Starting Thursday, September 25, join us weekly in Olney at the corner of Rt. 108 and Georgia Avenue. Rally and Rise is about coming together in unity, hope, and the strength of our voices. Each Thursday we gather to lift one another up, spread positivity, and make a little “good trouble” in the name of justice, compassion, and community. Bring your signs, your energy, and your spirit—we rise to remind ourselves and each other that change begins when voices join together. This a local Indivisible event! Parking is available in nearby shopping centers and along Hillcrest Drive. For stand-alone businesses, please leave their spaces open for their customers. And while you’re here, consider patronizing the local shops and restaurants—it’s a wonderful way to support our Olney community. Please also be mindful of the crosswalks and stay safe as we gather each week. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
