This week, we mourn the death of 19-year-old, Palestinian-American Nasrallah Mohammed Jamal Abu Siam, who was shot by an Israeli settler when he tried to stop them from raiding his village to steal sheep. He is at least the 11th U.S. citizen killed by Israeli soldiers and settlers since 2022. Since the ceasefire took effect, Israeli attacks have killed at least 618 Palestinians and injured 1,663. Israel has violated the ceasefire at least 1,620 times between Oct. 10, 2025 and Feb. 10, 2026. Israel has also continued to block vital humanitarian aid and destroy homes and infrastructure across the Strip. In the U.S., Leqaa Kordia, a young Palestinian woman, remains unjustly detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at the Prairieland Detention Center, in Alvarado, Texas despite multiple court orders granting her release on bond.
