MAY DAY STRONG! Workers over Billionaires - HEAR OUR VOICE Join us in Memorial Park on May Day, We will have a large group of organizations working in areas supporting issues being impacted by the policies of the current administration participating. These groups will be lined along the sidewalk from Dodge St to the top of the hill and ready to greet the public, answer questions and share information. Stop by and give a donation to your favorite groups. The organizations will be ready to meet and greet at 4PM, and we will have live music to set the mood for the program. Stroll through the memorials, grab dinner from a food truck and stake out your favorite spot to take in the action. The program runs from 5:30 to 7:30pm and features 8 dynamic speakers, musical performances and a variety of interactive activities. We need to PACK THE PARK. Protest principals say that with 3.5% of the population in the streets consistently, leadership can be changed. For Omaha, our part would be 17,500. We need your help to get there. All who support and stand for American Democracy are welcome to participate. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
