Join Singing Resistance NYC and Hands Off as we sing in solidarity with our immigrant neighbors and kin who experience violence at the hands of ICE and the federal government here in NYC. We also act as part of a national day of action in solidarity with those fighting against family and child detention at facilities like the Dilley Detention Center in Texas. Meet us at Foley Square where we’ll hold a vigil and then sing as we make our way over to Federal Plaza to bear witness at one of the hotspots of family separation in New York. Together, we’ll continue to resist authoritarianism and build a movement for liberation through song.
