Here We Stand: Saturday Protest Series
✊ HERE WE STAND: Saturday Protest Series
📍 Location: Protest Corner — State of Franklin & University Parkway (east side, same area as No Kings Day)
🕰 Time: 11:30 AM–1:00 PM (except Dec. 6 — see below)
We’re launching a new weekly protest series — created to engage working people who can’t join weekday actions. Each Saturday, we’ll take a visible stand for democracy, fairness, and justice. Bring your sign, your energy, and a friend — let’s build a strong, steady weekend presence!
Weekly Protests Work!

We’re aiming for weekly protests going forward, but there are a few conflicts this fall:

Nov 15: Friendsgiving 2025 — 2:00–4:00 PM at HVUUC, 136 Bob Jobe Rd., Gray, TN
Nov 29: No protest — Thanksgiving weekend
After December 6, we’ll return to a regular Saturday schedule at Protest Corner!
💥 Why We Stand
The HereWeStand Protest Series continues our organization’s legacy of peaceful, visible action. We stand for democracy, accountability, and the rights of all people — and we do it together.
"HERE I STAND. I CAN DO NO OTHER." Martin Luther
Each week, we remind our leaders and our neighbors:
Here we stand — for truth, for fairness, and for one another.
