Australians are losing out to the gas export scam. Australia Institute research shows that nurses pay more tax than gas and oil companies. Meanwhile, multinational gas companies get 56% of our gas for free and then export it overseas. Since our governments allowed these gas exports, our gas bills have tripled and our electricity bills have doubled. Big gas is taking the piss and Australian governments are letting them.
