Hello friends, On October 1st, we’ll be hosting a very special guest. After asking her to speak at least 15 times, my dear friend Dr Manal Fakhoury, a Palestinian-American nonprofit and business leader, will finally be speaking with us 🙂. Dr Fakhoury is extremely well connected within the movement and graciously connected with most of the well known speakers in the past, like Miko Peled, Huwaida Arraf, Anthony Aguilar, Laila Al-Arian, Harrison Mann, and many others. As the ongoing genocide reaches the end of its second year, Dr Fakhoury will be discussing the overall momentum of the pro liberation movement. Dr Manal Fakhoury, Bio: Dr. Manal Fakhoury is a strategist, entrepreneur, and community leader with over 30 years of nonprofit and business leadership experience. Born in Palestine and raised in the U.S., she comes from a family deeply committed to the full liberation of Palestine. She is the current Board Chairwoman of CAIR and works in many circles to advance justice and liberation for Palestine. Manal is also the curator of TEDxOcala, founder and president of Ollin Women International, and serves on numerous boards. Widely recognized for her leadership and impact, she has also brought transformative personal development programs to the Florida Department of Corrections, helping incarcerated individuals change their lives. She continues to inspire globally as a speaker, mentor, and advocate for peace and empowerment. Topic: In times of injustice, silence is complicity. This talk will explore the urgent importance of continuing to speak, teach, and take action to expose the truth of Palestine and build unstoppable momentum toward liberation. Dr. Manal Fakhoury will share why sustained advocacy is essential to reaching the tipping point that can end the genocide, dismantle the Occupation, and secure freedom for Palestine. Grounded in history, justice, and collective power, this session will inspire activists to embrace their role in a global movement where every voice and every action matters.
