Tell Keir Starmer: Cancel All Contracts with Palantir

Palestine Solidarity Campaign

The government is handing lucrative contracts to Palantir, a notorious US corporation providing AI and surveillance technology used as an essential part of Israel’s genocide in Gaza. ✍️ TAKE ACTON: Write to Starmer to demand all contracts with Palantir are terminated, via the link in our bio. In Jan 2024, Palantir entered into a “strategic partnership” with Israel’s Ministry of Defence to develop technology to be used in “war-related missions.” This technology has been used to accelerate Israel’s genocide in Gaza, by using AI technology for its bombing campaigns. Palantir also provides technology used as part of Israel’s surveillance apparatus in the occupied West Bank. Palestinians face constant and invasive monitoring leading to restricted movement and arbitrary arrest and detention in Israel’s prisons, where they face torture. Despite this, the gov is pushing ahead with the roll-out of the NHS Federated Data Platform to store patient medical data, developed by Palantir. This is despite major objections by health workers, patients and civil society organisations. Lucrative new contracts are being handed by Palantir. In February 2025, Starmer visited Palantir’s US HQ, accompanied by disgraced former ambassador to the US Peter Mandelson. The following Sept, the gov signed a “strategic partnership agreement” with Palantir. This includes a deal for Palantir to make Britain its “European HQ for defence”. Three months later, Palantir was awarded a £240million contract by the MOD to provide data analytics software to support “strategic, tactical and live operational decision making. Palantir’s head in Britain, Louis Mosley, even sits on MOD’s new Defence Industrial Joint Council, which is touted as the primary forum for “defence sector engagement.” The government’s close relationship with Palantir is abhorrent. We must act to put a stop to it.
