NO to data centers in our communities!
DeKalb County says NO to data centers in our communities!
Community organizing has forced DeKalb County to extend the moratorium on data centers to June 23, 2026. However, the board of commissioners will still vote THIS TUESDAY, January 13th, on the Ellenwood data center despite mass grassroots opposition.
Today people from South DeKalb gathered at a Community Town Hall to organize and strategize around bringing more people into the fight-back against the billionaires’ data centers.
The commissioners are trying to convince us that data centers benefit our communities and strengthen the economy, but we know the truth! The people will continue to organize until these toxic data centers are no longer being built in our neighborhoods.
The people demand a REJECTION of the amendment, withdrawal of current data campus proposals, and NO toxic data centers in our neighborhoods.
