Why does the United States want to overthrow the government of Venezuela? Through studying the history of the Bolivarian Revolution and analyzing US intervention patterns in Latin American, we can unveil the truth: U.S. imperialism cannot stand to have a country charting an independent and socialist path for itself. In this three-part series, we'll study the history of the Bolivarian Revolution and the massive gains it's made in addressing poverty and serving the needs of the people of Venezuela and beyond. We'll also look at the long pattern of U.S. wars, coups and interventions in Venezuela and Latin America in the context of imperialism.
