Venezuela study & action series!

Venezuela study & action series! Learn the facts & arm yourself with knowledge to fight back against the war machine. 📆Saturday: 1/10, 1/17 & 1/24 ⏰ 1-3pm 📍 928 Chapel St. New Haven and Zoom (link in bio!) The U.S. has upped its aggression against Venezuela by bombing the country and kidnapping the President, Nicolás Maduro after months of provocation, including attacking Venezuelan oil ships and bombing fishing boats. Why does the United States want to overthrow the government of Venezuela? Through studying the history of the Bolivarian Revolution and analyzing US intervention patterns in Latin American, we can unveil the truth: U.S. imperialism cannot stand to have a country charting an independent and socialist path for itself. In this three-part series, we'll study the history of the Bolivarian Revolution and the massive gains it's made in addressing poverty and serving the needs of the people of Venezuela and beyond. We'll also look at the long pattern of U.S. wars, coups and interventions in Venezuela and Latin America in the context of imperialism. As the situation quickly develops, it's critical to stay in the streets - and stay informed! 150 cities rallied against war on the weekend of January 3rd and 4th. Be part of building the movement and stay up-to-date on what's happening in Venezuela and beyond by attending this three-part series in New Haven or via Zoom (check bio for link to register.) #venezuela #handsoffvenezuela
