📝 Study with us 📝 This Saturday at 6 PM, we will continue with our discussion of the People's Forum School for Socialism. This time, we will be having a conversation on Black Reconstruction and the rich history of Black resistance to oppression throughout the history of the United States. The class will delve into the history of post-civil war Reconstruction, an experiment in genuine working class democracy, and why it was so brutally suppressed by the white ruling class. We will then discuss how Reconstruction is an unfinished revolution, still ongoing to this day, and why knowledge about this history is so important to the struggle today.
