Banyule Palestine Action Group
Fundraiser for Women in Gaza
Weve been supporting 7 women in Gaza for a year now. Visit the '7 Sisters' link in our bio to find out more
Heavy autumn rains continue to affect most of our families in Gaza. Most are living in tents and end up with flooded tents and their possessions water logged after each down pour.
As long as our sisters in Gaza need help — and your generosity continues — we’ll stand with them. Thank you for your support last week.
💚 How your support helped last week:
❤️ Winter clothes for kids
❤️ Food, nappies, and support for babies like Ayla
❤️ Gas for Rayana
❤️ Nutritious food and clean water for all
🌟 How your support will help this week:
❤️ Blankets and winter clothes
❤️ Help with December rent
❤️ Baby formula and nappies
❤️ Ongoing food and water supplies
Food prices and cash commission rates have eased slightly, making essentials like flour, chicken and eggs more affordable.
We’re keeping this week’s fundraising goal at $1,000 to supplement my own contribution and continue providing food, essentials, blankets, and rent support.
If you can, please keep giving and help spread the word. Your solidarity means so much to our sisters in Gaza.
I've attached a photo of Diana's husband Ahmed and their son Muhammed. The family distributed shwarma and juice to some children of the camps
Thanks!
Greta
P.s.We continue to raise money for blankets and last week thatnks to donors and Diana's husband Ahmeds efforts, 15 blankets and 3 mattresses were delivered to tent communities in Deir Al-Balah (photo attached - details here https://chuffed.org/project/blanket). Rheme and I, pictured, prepared a Gazan chicken and rice meal (recipe from Ahmed) for the local mosque to help with the blanket fundraiser.
