Join us and students across the country—from March 2nd to March 6th—for our Ramadan Week of Action, as we reaffirm our commitment to Palestinian liberation and liberation for all oppressed peoples. In the holy month of Ramadan, the Zionist entity has continued its decades-long pattern of escalated violence in Gaza, in the West Bank, and in Masjid Al-Aqsa. Historically, the Zionist entity is guilty of exploiting the sanctity of the month out of spite. Zionist forces in Gaza increase air strikes, shut off water at sundown, and restrict access to necessities. In the West Bank, Zionist forces routinely target Palestinians by weaponizing Masjid al-Aqsa, the third holiest site in Islam, turning away families at checkpoints, banning people from entry for weeks at a time, and raiding and beating worshipers in prayer. Settlers are emboldened to commit heinous crimes during Ramadan, facing little to no consequences. Most recently, settlers defaced and set fire to the Abu Bakr as Siddiq Mosque. As Gaza continues to resist Zionism on all fronts, in all of its manifestations, we, the Student Movement, reaffirm our steadfastness against the resurging liberal and repressive campaigns. We follow the path of our steadfast people in the homeland, from Gaza to Al-Quds, and we reassert our role in dismantling the genocidal Board of Butchers.
