Dancers for Palestine General Meeting
Dancers For Palestine
Are you a dance performer, choreographer, teacher, administrator, student, or appreciator? Do you support Palestinian liberation and oppose all forms of racism, imperialism, and state violence? Do you believe in dance as a tool for liberation—and recognize that our sector’s enforced silence around Palestine limits our potential as a serious force for collective liberation? Do you want to use your insights and talents to build power with other dance workers?
Join us!
As we begin our third year of organizing, Dancers for Palestine will begin holding general meetings:
Thursdays 8-9pm ET
Virtual
Every other week, beginning April 23
SIGN UP TO JOIN AT: bit.ly/d4p-meeting
Please RSVP by April 18
Our work includes outreach to the field around the Palestinian Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI), and direct actions, political education, programming, and more.
Meetings are also a place for members to initiate and seek support for their own D4P-aligned projects, which have included performance collaborations, fundraising events, articles, and social media content.
While the majority of D4P’s organizing team has been based in NYC, members can join virtually from any location!
