🐚About the event: Last year, we lost two titans––Assata Shakur and Miss Major Griffin-Gracy––whose revolutionary activism paved the way for countless of us to be here today.
🌀Their lives, legacies, and leadership are testaments to the radical Black feminist imagination, praxis, and possibilities and their movement building has and continues to inspire countless around the world.
🐚This event honors and uplifts the spirits of both Assata and Miss Major as both a celebration and commemoration of their immense love for us––for their immense love for our people.
